Vitamin E – powerful antioxidant that neutralises the oxidative effect of free radicals. It's also hydrating! Our bodies naturally produce vitamin E. It is found in sebum (skin oil), which forms a protective barrier over our skin and locks in moisture.

Skincare routines are incomplete without moisturisers. In the winter, your moisturiser should be like a soft, silky cashmere blanket wrapping around our skin, while in the summer, it should be a light linen cover-up. Some moisturisers, like i-Cann CBD Face cream can fit the bill for both scenarios.
The right face cream or moisturiser will not only rectify dry skin concerns, it serves as hydrating and moisturising and it will act by replenishing your skin's natural protective barrier, whatever your skin type. With some well-chosen active ingredients (such as CBD) it will maximise the effect of serums, acids and mists you have applied during your skincare routine.
There has been considerable evidence touted which claim that CBD oil, and thus CBD skincare benefits the skin when applied topically. This makes CBD a great ingredient for acne-prone skin in particular, while its calming benefits help soothe reactive skin. Using CBD oil in conjunction with CBD skincare can also help to maximise its effects.
Looking out for the active ingredients that lock in moisture is essential in finding the most hydrating face cream. i-Cann's CBD face cream has avocado oil which is packed full of fatty acids which is essential for adding moisture to your skincare routine. Whichever skin type you have, choosing a hydrating moisturiser is paramount.
Aside from finding the perfect face cream, you can't beat good old fashioned water! Making sure that you are adequately hydrating yourself is key.

You only have to take a look at your local supermarket or high street store to be confused by all the different types of wrinkle cream touting anti-wrinkle claims and age-defying miracles! CBD is one of the latest trends to hit our beauty counters!
Whilst deep wrinkles can't be reversed, evidence suggests that anti-aging or wrinkle cream, may be effective in treating fine lines, at least stemming the tide of wrinkles, even if they're not the 100% age-defying products some claim to be.
With age, our skin produces fewer natural oils that maintain a youthful skin's dewy, plump and healthy complexion. Consequently, the skin on our faces can become dull and dry. In addition, as elastin and collagen levels begin to decrease in the body, our skin fails to bounce back after a smile or frown like it once did. And so the dreaded fine lines and wrinkles begin to make an unwelcome appearance. This is where anti-ageing products can come in to play. Finding a moisturiser that can double up as an eye cream can also be a game changer in addressing those age-old problems like crow's feet, and serve as our longed-for anti-aging antedote.
The best anti-aging skincare products are those that target the first signs of ageing. Ensuring the right levels of hydration are delivered through the product and aid in smoothing those fine lines. Mature skin requires intense moisturising abilities that help with skin repair and can aid in restoring elasticity. Using a moisturiser that has active ingredients for reducing dark spots and discolouration is a must!
As skincare products such as body lotion and balm aren't intended for facial skin, it could exacerbate some skin concerns. Putting it on to your face just once or twice probably won't harm you, but prolonged use might aggravate some skin concerns.
You will generally benefit more by sticking to skincare formulated specifically for use on your face.
